Le Petit Rocque des Granges

The granite menhir was found during the construction of the house and was re-erected by the States of Guernsey Ancient Monuments Committee as they were then known. Evidence points to many menhirs in the area but this is the only one to turn up so far.

This rather unassuming lump is 1.4 metres high and 600 cm wide.
